Circular Islands supported CINOR in developing its Circular Economy Roadmap, from the initial territorial assessment through to the design of an operational action programme. The process combined stakeholder mapping, SWOT and resource flow analysis, questionnaire-based data collection, stakeholder consultations and collaborative workshops. The resulting roadmap structures actions and sub-actions around clearly defined objectives, target groups, timelines and monitoring indicators, with strategic priorities subsequently presented to elected representatives.

Design of a tailored training programme exploring the application of circular economy principles to the construction sector, with a particular focus on the challenges and solutions associated with low-carbon concrete. The programme provides participants with the knowledge, concepts and practical understanding needed to integrate more circular practices and reduce the environmental impacts associated with construction materials.

Analysis of textile flows between Réunion Island and Madagascar to better understand existing dynamics and identify opportunities for cooperation between the two territories. The project combines an assessment of material flows and key stakeholders, engagement with stakeholders in Réunion Island, and the development of a dedicated data-collection questionnaire. The aggregation and analysis of the results provide insights into current practices, existing exchanges and potential development opportunities for the textile sector.

Development of an Economic Dashboard for the Indian Ocean Region.

Development of an economic dashboard designed to structure and improve access to key data for the South-West Indian Ocean region. The project includes the identification of relevant indicators, data collection and consolidation, and the development of both detailed and summary versions of the dashboard. Data visualisations, communication materials and key messages complement the dashboard, making the results easier to understand, communicate and use for decision-making.
